Wesley Dean Rosenthal, 57, Temple, Texas, died Saturday (6/26/10). Born 8/17/52 in Lincoln, Neb. to Wilber and Donna (Atkinson) Rosenthal. Ret. Professor of Agronomy, Blackland Research Center, Texas A & M University. Bachelors degree from UNL, Masters degree from Kansas State, Doctorate degree from Texas A & M. Member: Covenant Lutheran Church, Temple, Texas, Sunrise Rotary Club of Temple, organizer of annual Temple Wildflower Bluegrass Festival, former board member of the Temple Civic Theatre, former member Toastmasters, served as judge for annual science fair at Raye-Allen Elementary School. Avid runner, Husker fan/Aggie fan. 

Family members include sister, Lois Gillispie and husband Larry; nephews, Kip Gillispie and wife Jessica, Kyle Gillispie and fiance Amy Gamble; step-father, Harvey Atkinson; step-sister, Ann Atkinson Isaman and husband Dan; step-brother, Jim Atkinson and wife Gina; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends in Texas. Preceded in death by father Wilber, mother Donna.

Graveside Service 10 a.m. Tuesday (7/6/10), Lincoln Memorial Park, 6800 South 14th Street. Please meet at gate #2. Memorials to the family for future designation. No visitation/cremation. Condolences or personal reflections may be sent online at www.roperandsons.com
