Glen and I actually got to know each other well only after graduating from Northeast. We were part of a fun loving group of friends that enjoyed those carefree days of goofing off with few responsibilities. Inevitably, we all went our separate ways to schools and jobs away from Lincoln. We lost contact until 1984 when some of his family let me know he was tragically in the final stages of cancer, due to having contracted the AIDS virus. Ironically, it turns out we had been unknowingly living only blocks apart for several years in San Francisco. Glen was a truly good guy and I still miss him.
