Gerald "Jerry" W. Ellis, 61, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully in his Lincoln home on Tuesday, October 2, 2012.He is survived by his wife, Maureen; their son, Donald; daughter, Michelle Cartwright, and son, Scott; granddaughter, Laura Cartwright; grandson, Jacob Cartwright; mother, Barbara Morris; brother and sister-in-law, David and Gloria; many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by father, Robert Ellis, and step-father, Hugh Morris.

Visitation will be Sunday 6-7 pm at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home and Monday 9-10 am at church. Rosary will be Sunday at 7 pm at funeral home and mass of Christian burial will be Monday, October 8, 2012 at 10 am at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 14th & K with a burial in York.
