Vicki I. (Dragosh) Wilcox, 57, passed away at her home in Malcolm on Monday, May 3, 2010 after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was born on Sept. 1, 1952 in Lincoln, Neb. to Victor and Nettie (Swartz) Dragosh. She graduated from NE High School in 1970 and then attended Lincoln School of Commerce. Her career stared at LTT as a switch board operator, then to Nebr. Dept. of Roads in 1972 where she met her husband Charlie. They were married in Lincoln on May 11, 1973. She continued working in the secretarial field for the Nebraska State Legislature in the clerks office, becoming a Senator's secretary. Her career included working at UNL with the Facilities Management, Research and Development Unit for Vocational Education, Department of Agricultural Meteorolgy, The National Drought Mitigation Center and Economic Dept. She worked for L.E.S. for two years, then completing the career at the law firm of Erickson & Sederstrom. All during this time of working she raised her family.

Survived by: loving husband, Charlie D. Wilcox of Malcolm; daughter, Alison Wilcox of Malcolm; son, daughter-in-law Joshua and Melissa Wilcox of Malcolm; beloved granddaughters, Alaina and Kenna of Malcolm; mother, Nettie Dragosh of Lincoln; brother, Wayne Dragosh of Roca. Preceded in death by her father Victor Dragosh.
